Vijnana Vihara Residential School is a registered N.G.O. carrying out multidisciplinary activities to promote educational, social, cultural and community development in the North Coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh since 1980, with its base at Gudilova, Anandapuram (Mandal), Visakhapatnam(District). In the beginning, the founding fathers with their sagacity and vision, startedgurukula pattern of educational activity. Later to discharge its social commitment, rural andtribal education alongh with medical, health and other service activities were taken up. to make the community self-reliant, it started providing vocational training cutting across the present commercial trends. Vijnana Vihara Alumni Association formed during Silver Jubilee year has decided to provide wide range of services to improve the Almamater with a mission. Parents, well wishers, old students and philanthropic public including other stake holders are trying to propel us forward to take up number of initiatives for further educational and social reforms.
It is quite and best region respiration peace and tranquility with hills in the south and west and undeniable region at the north and east. It is an ideal spot for studying. The temple of Ranganadh Swamy and Narayaneswara located within the valley 2 km away from the school are an attraction for visitors. The whole surroundings are surcharged with piety, peace, and quietness. All the students, instructors and personnel with their families are living in the campus, respiratory the beauty of nature.
Education is the assimilation of ideas and schooling of thoughts main to the dynamism of person and creativity of persona and not mere book gaining knowledge or stuffing of the mind that ends in stagnation in personality. 1. Rural Education
I. Vijnana Vihara Residential School (Senior Secondary School - 1980), Gudilova.
A fully residential school with student representation from 13 states.
II. Kesava Vidya Vihara (Upper Primary Free School - 1981), Gudilova.
Provided first generation education for 11 villages. Alumni are helping to the transformation of these villages.
III. Sri SaraswatiVidya Vihara (E.M. High School - 1989), Gudilova.
Its target group is social, cultural,political and economic leaders from surrounding villages. It takes up dharmic jagaran and service
activities in a big way through students and teachers with the help of parents in villages.
IV. Madhava Vidya Vihara (Upper Primary Free School - 2006), Anakapalle.
School in the area where we have constructed 125 pucca houses and community hall in flood affected S.C. colony of Anakapalle.
2. Tribal Education
I.Vivekananda Vidya Vihara (High School - 1993), Sitampeta. Students from 156 tribal
habitations, mostly primitive tribal groups attend. It's being run with alumni and Integrated Tribal
Development Agencie's (ITDA Sitampeta) help. This school has helped in removing middlemen
between ITDA and tribals along with Dharma jagaran & Cultural transformation activity.

Health Care, extension of B.V.K.Degree College under UGC Scheme.

iv. ATAL Tinkering Laboratory services are extended to the nearby rural talent.
5. Health
Resident medical officer on the Gudilova campus : Specialists provide their service
every day in Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Dentistry, ENT, Surgery, Gastro-
Enterology and Dermatology. We shall be developing our rural community health
centre into a 50beded hospital.
